Lapping Machine After-Sales Service and Operation & Maintenance Specifications

The quality of after-sales service for lapping machine is directly related to the stability of the equipment's processing accuracy and the efficiency throughout its entire service life. For the full-cycle service after equipment sales, it is necessary to build a three-in-one service system consisting of commissioning and training, maintenance, and precautions.
During the equipment commissioning and training phase, the following core contents shall be imparted to customers:
  1. Equipment installation and calibration, including horizontal leveling, grounding specifications, and pressure setting of the air supply and hydraulic systems, to ensure that the basic operating conditions of the lapping machine meet the standards.
  2. Operating procedures, covering workpiece clamping and positioning, matching of lapping plate rotation speed and pressure parameters, and proportioning and supply control of lapping fluid.
  3. Precision inspection, guiding customers to use tools such as micrometers and flatness testers to verify the flatness and parallelism indicators of processed workpieces.
  4. Emergency fault handling, explaining the meanings of common alarm codes, adjustment of lapping plate runout, and troubleshooting of hydraulic system leaks and other basic skills.
Equipment maintenance shall follow scientific and standardized procedures, divided into daily maintenance and regular maintenance.
Daily maintenance shall be completed after each shift: clean residual abrasives and workpiece debris on the surface of the lapping plate, wipe the equipment body and guide rails; check the liquid level and cleanliness of the lapping fluid, replace or filter it in a timely manner, and confirm whether there is abnormal noise in each moving part of the lapping machine.
Regular maintenance shall be carried out according to the operating hours: inspect the tightness of the transmission belt and the lubrication state of bearings every 500 hours, and replenish or replace special lubricating oil; perform correction and balance detection on the lapping plate every 1000 hours, and conduct surface trimming if necessary; disassemble and inspect the seals of the hydraulic system every 2000 hours, and replace aging components of the lapping machine.
The following usage precautions and maintenance rules must be strictly observed:
  1. Ensure accurate positioning during workpiece clamping to avoid uneven wear of the lapping plate caused by eccentricity, which will affect the service life of the lapping machine.
  2. Gradually optimize the adjustment of lapping parameters; it is prohibited to drastically modify the rotation speed and pressure at one time to prevent equipment overload.
  3. It is forbidden to use lapping fluid and abrasives that do not meet the specifications to avoid damaging the surface accuracy of the lapping plate.
  4. Before long-term shutdown of the lapping machine, thoroughly clean the lapping system, perform rust-proof treatment on metal components, and cut off the main power supply and air supply.
  5. Maintenance operations must be carried out when the lapping machine is shut down and powered off to avoid safety accidents caused by misoperation.
Through systematic commissioning and training, standardized maintenance processes and strict operating specifications, the processing stability of the lapping machine can be effectively guaranteed, the service life of the equipment can be prolonged, and continuous value can be created for customers.
